Primary doubled die reverse for the 1963-D Franklin Half Dollar — the final year and final Denver Mint production of this series before its replacement by the Kennedy Half Dollar in 1964. DDR-001 exhibits light spread with extra thickness on both E PLURIBUS UNUM and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, affecting two of the most prominent text elements on the reverse design.
