The 1962 Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-003 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 1962 Jefferson Nickel, part of the Jefferson Nickels Original Design 1938-2003 series. Die markers: Obverse: The obverse is a doubled die listed as 1962 5c WDDO-009. Reverse: Two short, parallel, nearly vertical die scratches to right of bottom of M of UNUM; slightly slanted die scratch just over right porch. Cross-referenced as CONECA 15-R-II-C.
