The 1960 Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-014 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 1960 Proof Jefferson Nickel, part of the Jefferson Nickels Original Design 1938-2003 series. Die markers: Obverse: Die gouge under O of GOD. Reverse: Heavy die gouge (line) above and between E and P of E PLURIBUS; vertical die gouge to left of lower portion of E of UNITED; die scratch over upper part of US of PLURIBUS.
