Description

Class II, Distorted Hub DoublingA nice spread toward the center shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. A closer spread shows on FIVE CENTS and ELLO of MONTICELLO. All spreads increase from left to right. Die Markers: Obverse: Short die gouge east from tip of 5 of date; die gouge (dot) on top of head at 1 oclock. Reverse: Die gouge (dot) on center steps directly above I of MONTICELLO; die gouge (dot) above small left window.
