Description

The 1957 Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-010 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. Die markers: Obverse: Short die gouge from right side of N of IN; short horizontal die gouge in upper part of 5 of date; circular-patterned die scratches on forehead and cheek; x-shaped die scratch under chin. Reverse: Die scratches through lower portions of RIB of PLURIBUS; die scratch through LLO of MONTICELLO; diagonal die scratch inside upper right small semi-circular arch.
