1956 Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-002

Description

Extra thickness shows on the letters of USA, the letters of QUARTER DOLLAR, and the lower leaves and branches. Die Markers: Obverse: A small die gouge (dot) can be found between the lower R and T of LIBERTY. A die gouge can be found to the right of the center of the T in LIBERTY. Reverse: Very late die state examined. A die crack or die gouge runs southeast from the bottom right R of QUARTER to the rim. Obverse:
