The medium spread classification places this variety between the subtle "light" and the dramatic "strong" categories, indicating doubling that is detectable under moderate magnification but may not be immediately obvious to the unaided eye. VarietyVista's die stage documentation reveals a three-stage progression: Stage A is classified as EDS (Early Die State, unconfirmed), Stage B shows the reverse at MDS (Mid Die State) with numerous die scratches visible on the neck, and Stage C is designated LDS (Late Die State, unconfirmed).
