Description
An extra eyelid can be found below the normal eyelidDie Markers: Obverse: Die scratches run E/W between the upper O and D in GOD. Reverse: None significant.Submitted By: Rudy Alfaro, Jr.Cross References: None known Obverse: A die gouge can be found below the five in the date. A strong die scratch runs NNE from the upper chin. Nearly horizontal die scratches can be found north of the one in the date. Numerous heavy die cracks run throughout the hair. Reverse: The reverse is a doubled die listed in the Wexler Doubled Die Files as 1956 1¢ WDDR-003. Extra thickness shows on the letters of EPU, both of the dots, both of the upper wheat ears, and both of the wheat stems. A small die gouge touches the bottom center of the diagonal bar of the N in ONE. A small die gouge touches the upper center of the diagonal bar of the N in CENT. Numerous die scratches run from NNW to SSE through the letters in CENT. A large die chip can be found on the lower T in CENT. Obverse:
