Description

An extra eyelid is present south of the normal eyelid. Die Markers: Obverse: A series of vertical die scratches run north from the bridge of Lincoln’s nose and his upper forehead. A long die crack runs from the rim into the back of Lincoln’s head, left of the I in IN. A series of concentric die scratches run through the N in IN and the G in GOD. Light horizontal die scratches run between the E in WE and the first T in TRUST. Horizontal concentric die scratches run through the upper R and U in TRUST. Reverse: Vertical die scratches show around the left wheat tip. Light diagonal die scratches run through most of the letters in PLURIBUS. A series of diagonal die scratches show northeast of the right wheat tip. Vertical die scratches run above and between the letters O and N in ONE. Horizontal die scratches show inside the upper opening of the N in ONE. A nearly vertical die scratch shows inside the lower opening of the C in CENT.
