Description

An extra eyelid is present south of the normal eyelid. Die Markers: Obverse: Die scratches run NNW/SSE through the 19 in the date. A series of die scratches show below the G in GOD. A die gouge (dot) shows between the lower E in WE and the lower T in TRUST. A die gouge shows at the margin of the upper forehead and the front hair curl. A die gouge shows to the right of Lincoln’s upper eyebrow. Reverse: A die scratch runs from the rim southwest of the E in E PLURIBUS. A die gouge (dot) shows to the left of the O in ONE. A die gouge shows to the left of the right wheat tip. Die gouges show to the left and northwest of the U in UNITED. A diagonal die scratch runs southeast from the second T in STATES.
