Description
1953-D WDDO-007 is a doubled die obverse on the 1953-D Lincoln Wheat cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. An extra eyelid lies below the normal one. On the obverse, a gouge sits to the right of the bottom of GOD's D, and a short scratch heads WSW from TRUST's first T. On the reverse, one scratch heads NNE from the middle of the diagonal of ONE's N, and another heads NNE from the lower right of ONE's E. Brian Ribar submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
