Description
ADC-1c-1953D-01 This 1953-D Lincoln cent shows moderate to heavy, unabraded clash marks on both the obverse and reverse. The obverse shows the N of UNITED protruding from the back of Lincoln’s head and the C of CENT crossing through the TY of LIBERTY. (top first inset to the left). The last A of AMERICA and the A of STATES can be seen in the second inset from the left. The N of CENT and the E of ONE can be seen in the throat area and near the first digit of the date. The reverse shows the neck, collar and head of Lincoln through the C of CENT and into the I of UNITED (bottom first inset to the left). The throat of Lincoln and his vest can be seen dissecting the E of ONE and the N of CENT in the second inset from the left. The third inset shows Lincoln’s nose and forehead as it passes through the A of STATES and the C of AMERICA.
