Description

A CW spread from a pivot at 7:00 shows on the letters of TRUST and on the 2 of the date. Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: A die clash mark runs from the top right end of the bowtie north to the beard. Obverse Stage B: A short die scratch runs SW from the bottom left R in LIBERTY. A die crack runs NE from the rim at 7 o’clock through the shoulder. A very heavy die crack runs NE from the hair above the ear. Reverse Stage A: A die scratch runs SW to NE above the C in CENT. Several die scratches run SW to NE from the bottom of the inside of the C in CENT. Reverse Stage B: Stage A markers are gone. A large die chip is on the lower T in CENT. A small die gouge can be found between the upper T and E of STATES.
