Description

An extra eyelid shows to the east of the normal eyelid. Die Markers: Obverse: Innumerable die scratches run mostly NE/SW throughout the obverse. Concentric die scratches show along the rim from 4 to 8 o’clock and 10 to 12 o’clock. Reverse: Innumerable die scratches run mostly vertically throughout the reverse. Die scratches run NE/SW inside the lower and below the right side of the O of ONE. A die scratch runs from the top of the T of CENT northeast to the right leg of the M of UNUM. A long die scratch runs from the bottom left side of the E of ONE to the top left tip of the T of CENT and out the vertical bar to the field right of the T of CENT. Crisscrossing die scratches forming X shapes run in OF. Submitted By: Brian Ribar Cross References: None known Obverse: A small die gouge can be found between the upper O and D of GOD. Several die scratches extend southwest from the bottom of the D in GOD. A die scratch extends from southwest to northeast through the mint mark. The mint mark is a minor RPM listed as WRPM-043 which is a D/D Tilted (Rotated). Reverse: A die scratch extends north-northeast from the top of the A in STATES. Small die gouges can be found above the left end of the bottom horizontal bar of the E in CENT and between the bottoms of the E and N of CENT. A strong diagonal die gouge can be found above the top right side of the T of CENT. Obverse:
