Description

An extremely close spread towards the center shows on the upper left wheat lines.Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: The obverse is an RPM variety listed in the Wexler RPM Files as 1948-S 1¢ WRPM-001. It is an S/S East. N/S scratches through the 1 and 9 of the date. N/S die scratches above LIBERTY. Obverse Stage B: Die crack runs E/W above the VDB. Reverse Stage A: Small die chip centered on the outer left leg edge of the first U of UNUM. Reverse Stage B: Two short die scratches on the left side of the N of CENT.
