1948-D Doubled Die Obverse WDDO-003

Description

An extra eyelid can be found below the normal eyelid. Die Markers: Obverse: A small die gouge can be found to the left of the bottom of the I of IN. A small die gouge can be found to the left of the top of the one in the date. Die clash marks can be found to the right of the throat. Reverse: A die clash can be seen between the lower C and E in CENT extending down to the I in UNITED. Two strong die gouges can be found below the left side of the C in CENT.
