1946 Doubled Die Obverse WDDO-003

Description

Extra eyelids can be found directly under the normal eyelid and above the eyelid. Very slight doubling towards the center shows on GOD WE TRUST. Die Markers: Obverse: Parallel die scratches run SW from the lower letters of IN. Reverse: The reverse is a minor doubled die listed as 1946 1¢ WDDR-004. A very close spread towards the center shows on the upper left wheat lines, the E in EPU, and the left dot. A die scratch runs south from the bottom right of the D in UNITED to the top of the M in AMERICA. Obverse:
