Description

A light extra eyelid displaced to the north and very light spread on the digits 46 of the date characterize this 1946 Lincoln wheat cent doubled die obverse. The northward eyelid displacement is a specific diagnostic — the secondary eyelid arc appears above the primary line rather than below it, distinguishing DDO-007 from other doubled dies where the extra eyelid shifts south.
