1945-S Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-001

Description

A close Class II spread towards the center shows on the tips of the left wheat lines and the tops of the letters in EPU. Die Markers: Obverse: The obverse of this variety is an RPM listed in the Wexler RPM Files as 1945-S 1¢ WRPM-005. It is an S/S Northeast. Die scratches run from NNW to SSE through the 19 in the date. Reverse: A strong die clash mark shows between the lower C and E in CENT. North to south die scratches run through the UN of UNITED.
