Description
1945-D WDDO-024 is a doubled die obverse on the 1945-D Lincoln Wheat cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. Doubling shows inside the upper part of the 9 in the date. Obverse markers: clash remnants at the front of the throat; a SW/NE crack from above the ear; and a crack heading NE from the bust's bottom left corner. Reverse markers: gouges (dots) between the upper C and E of CENT, below the right side of CENT's E, and left of its T. Tracy Crawford submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
