1944 Doubled Die Obverse WDDO-004

Description

Strong Class VI extra thickness shows on the date, especially the lower 9. Extra thickness also shows on LIBERTY and to a lesser extent on IGWT. A nice Class II separation line shows on the lower 9 in the date. Die Markers: Obverse: A small die gouge protrudes from the lower right side of the N of IN. A die gouge can be found near the center of the nose. Reverse: A die scratch extends SE from the top right of the N in CENT. Obverse:
