Description
Doubling shows on the bottom left side of the ear. Die Markers: Obverse: A strong die dent can be found between the bottom of the bust and the rim just to the right of the designer’s initials. A weak die scratch runs from WNW to ESE through the lower OD of GOD. A short die scratch runs NNW from the top right of the T in LIBERTY. Circular lathe marks run parallel to the rim and are best seen below the bust and above IN GOD WE. Reverse: Two somewhat parallel die scratches run from WSW to ENE through the left wheat stem. A short die scratch runs from SW to NE above the P in PLURIBUS. Obverse:
