1944 Doubled Die Obverse WDDO-019

Description

Doubling shows an extra eyelid south of the primary eyelid. Die Markers: Obverse: Die gouge above L in LIBERTY at the rim. Die scratch running roughly vertically through left side of R in LIBERTY. Die scratches run north from the forehead. Die scratches run roughly vertically through IGWT. Die scratch under ear. Reverse: Slightly curving die scratches run roughly vertically inside C, E, and T in CENT. Horizontal die scratches through RIBUS in PLURIBUS and the second dot.
