Description

Class VI, Distended Hub DoublingVery strong Class VI doubling shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, CENTS, and LLO of MONTICELLO.  All spreads increase from left to right. Die Markers: Obverse: Die crack in Jefferson's hair extending to rim at K: 12:00; die gouge on Jefferson's shoulder. Reverse: Long slanted die scratch from P of PLURIBUS; die dot between lower portions of S and first T of STATES.
