Description

An extra eyelid can be found just under the normal eyelid. Die Markers: Obverse: The obverse of this variety is also an RPM that is listed in the Wexler RPM Files as 1944-D 1¢ WRPM-004, a D/D Tilted (Rotated). Series of wavy die gouges to the upper right of the Y of LIBERTY. Two die gouges below the O of GOD. Die scratch to the lower right of the E of WE. Reverse: Two light die scratches below the O of OF.
