The extra-eyelid effect occurs when hub doubling shifts the eyelid just enough to create a visible secondary line, producing an appearance of two distinct lids. While classified as light, the extra eyelid is among the most satisfying doubled die diagnostics because it creates an immediately recognizable anomaly on a familiar portrait.
