The 1942-D Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-002 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 1942 (D) Jefferson Nickel, part of the Jefferson Nickels Original Design 1938-2003 series. Die markers: Obverse: Listed as 1942-D 5c WDDO-001.
