The 1941-S Doubled Die Obverse DDO-002 is a doubled die obverse (DDO) variety, where a misalignment during the die hubbing process created visible doubling on the obverse design elements. This variety was discovered on the 1941 (S) Lincoln Wheat Cent, part of the Lincoln Wheat Cents 1909-1958 series. Die markers: UVC-1509 DMR-017 Stage A: Obverse is EMDS Die chips in lower Right wheat – VLDS UVC-1510 DMR-018 Stage B: Obverse is MDS Reverse die changed – EMDS Stage C: Die crack along lower shoulder – LDS Reverse is MDS.
