Description

Extreme Class VI extra thickness shows on QUARTER DOLLAR, USA, EPU, the outer edges of the wings, the eagle’s head, and the lower leaves and branches.Die Markers: Obverse: A short die gouge runs SW from the top of the B in LIBERTY into the upper loop of the B. Reverse: A short die scratch runs east from just below the center of the first S in STATES.Submitted By: Joe RizdyCross References: CONECA: 12-R-VI Obverse: A die crack runs along the base of the bust into the lower queue. A die scratch runs NE from the lower right L in LIBERTY to the I. A die crack runs east through the upper forehead and into the hair. A die crack runs east through the hair above the forehead and the hair at the top of the head. Reverse: A die crack runs down the eagle’s right wing and into the field above the Q in QUARTER. A die crack runs east from the S in PLURIBUS to the top of the eagle’s left wing. A die crack runs down the left wing. A die crack runs east from the back of the eagle’s head.
