Class II, Distorted DoublingNice Class II doubling shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM, increasing left to right. Closer doubling shows on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and FIVE CENTS. Die Markers: Obverse: Die scratch in field at back of Jefferson's head below ER of LIBERTY. Reverse: Die gouge through upper portion of I of AMERICA; die gouge from tip of second A of AMERICA to base of building. Type II steps.
