1938 Doubled Die Obverse WDDO-001

Description

A light CCW spread from a pivot at 6 o’clock shows on WE TRUST. Die Markers: Obverse: Die gouge on the top of the nose that resembles a doubled eyelid. Die crack from the rim at 7 o’clock that runs through the V and top of the D in the designer’s initials. Reverse: NE/SW die scratches running from under the left dot and the E of EPU. Obverse:
