1936 Doubled Die Obverse WDDO-017

Description

An extra eyelid shows SE of the normal eyelid. Die Markers: Obverse: A die scratch runs from north from the center of the nose. Numerous die scratches run E/W through GOD. Reverse: The reverse is a doubled die listed in the Wexler Doubled Die Files as 1936 1¢ WDDR-003A. A spread towards the center shows on EPU and the dots with the spread increasing from left to right. Strong doubling shows on the upper right wheat ear and the E in ONE. A die scratch runs south from the bottom of the second S in STATES. Obverse:
