Description
The 1936 Doubled Die Obverse DDO-002 is a doubled die obverse (DDO) variety, where a misalignment during the die hubbing process created visible doubling on the obverse design elements. This variety was discovered on the 1936 Lincoln Wheat Cent, part of the Lincoln Wheat Cents 1909-1958 series. Die markers: UVC-1337 DMR-004 Stage A: Obverse and Reverse are EDS Stage B: Obverse and Reverse and MDS Stage C: Obverse and Reverse are LDS. Cross-referenced as FS-102.
