With just two years remaining before the Buffalo Nickel series concluded in 1938, this second doubled die reverse for the 1936 Philadelphia issue documents a hubbing anomaly on one of the design's penultimate dates. Cataloged under VarietyVista identifiers UVC-169 and DMR-007, the variety shows extra thickness on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and FIVE CENTS, affecting the same inscription areas as other Buffalo Nickel DDRs but from a distinctly different die — DMR-007 confirms a unique die marriage separate from those cataloged under DMR-003.
