Description
TDC-25c-1935S-01 Below is a typical clashed die example on a 1935S silver Washington Quarter. Though abraded, there are light clash marks of the perimeter of the eagle’s wings in front of Washington’s face, neck and back of head. Within the eagles wings on the reverse is much of Washington’s portrait. In terms of die markers, along with mintmark position, the reverse has strong north south abrasion lines throughout and there is strong gouge within the 3 of the date. This die was found by Matthew Whitt
