Description

A doubled eyelid shows to the south of the normal eyelid. Die Markers: Obverse: Parallel, diagonal die scratches run from the front of Lincoln’s jacket towards the 3 in the date. A series of diagonal die scratches run towards the rim above IN. Diagonal die scratches run towards the rim between the upper D in GOD and the W in WE. Reverse: A series of diagonal die scratches run through the letters U and M in UNUM. A die gouge (dot) shows below the left arm of the N in ONE. A die gouge (dot) shows in the field NW of the C in CENT. A light, vertical die scratch shows inside C in CENT. A die scratch runs about north from each arm of the U in UNITED. A die gouge (dot) shows between the letters A and T in STATES. Light, vertical die scratches run through the last S in STATES. A die gouge (dot) shows equally spaced above and between OF. A light die scratch runs south from the lower left arm of the first A in AMERICA.
