Description
1926-S VAM-2C Die File Lines Top & Lower Left Obverse & Reverse Discovered by Laurence Galbraith, May 2005. 2C(revised) II 1 B2b (Die File Lines Top & Lower Left Obverse & Reverse) I-3 R-6 Obverse II 1- LDS shows heavy die file lines between ERT and below IN GOD WE in attempt to remove die crack. Reverse B2b- Die chip at top right of D in Dollar. Heavy die file lines in right field and near eagle's left wing to remove die clash marks with feathers missing from end of eagle's left wing. LDS has had further die filing with ray thru N in ONE is shortened on right side of N. High micro I S mint mark. Comments: The photos below are from a Redfield MS-65 example in an old red Paramount holder.
