1923-S VAM-1AX Die File Lines Obverse & Reverse, Scribbling Die Scratches 23 Discovered by Brian Raines, July 2008. 1AX II1 - B2a (Die File Lines Obverse & Reverse, Scribbling Die Scratches 23) I-3 R-6 Obverse II1 - Clashed die with heavy die file lines in field in front of forehead and nose. Scribbling die scratches between 2 & 3. Reverse B2a - Clashed die with heavy die file lines around eagle. Comments: 1. Severely abused reverse die. Very difficult to photograph due to severity and multiple directions of polishing. 2. 1EN eliminated, same as 1AX
