The 1919 Philippine Twenty Centavos is a United States cent from the Philippines Twenty Centavos 1903-1945 series — 17th of 26 years in the series. In 1919, coins were struck at the San Francisco Mint. The obverse features a female figure standing beside an anvil and the reverse displays an eagle above a shield. Minted during and after World War I, as America emerged as a global power and experienced the prosperity of the Roaring Twenties. Struck in silver.
