Error
Description
The 1915 Doubled Die Obverse DDO-001 is a doubled die obverse (DDO) variety, where a misalignment during the die hubbing process created visible doubling on the obverse design elements. This variety was discovered on the 1915 Buffalo Nickel, part of the Buffalo Nickels 1913-1938 series. Die markers: UVC-020 DMR-003 Stage A: EDS (unconfirmed) Stage B: MDS (unconfirmed) Stage C: LDS (unconfirmed). Cross-referenced as FS-101. FS-101. Photographs by J. T. Stanton, courtesy of Whitman Publishing. I need to see a specimen for digital photographs and die state information.
