The 1913 Doubled Die Reverse DDR-001 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 1913 Buffalo Nickel - Type 2, part of the Buffalo Nickels 1913-1938 series. Die markers: UVC-006 DMR-006 Stage A: Reverse and Obverse are EDS Stage B: Die clash through the left leg of the R of PLURIBUS – MDS Die clash below chin – MDS Stage C: LDS (unconfirmed).
