The 1911 Philippine Twenty Centavos is a United States cent from the Philippines Twenty Centavos 1903-1945 series — 9th of 26 years in the series. In 1911, coins were struck at the San Francisco Mint. The obverse features a female figure standing beside an anvil and the reverse displays an eagle above a shield. Produced during the Progressive Era, when President Theodore Roosevelt championed a renaissance in American coin design that produced some of the most beautiful coins ever struck. A notable auction result reached $4.8K in MS63 grade at Heritage Auctions. Designed by Melecio Figueroa.
