The 1910 Philippine Peso is a United States peso from the Philippines Peso 1903-1945 series — 8th of 11 years in the series. In 1910, coins were struck at the San Francisco Mint. The obverse features a female figure standing beside an anvil, holding a hammer and the reverse displays an eagle above a shield. Produced during the Progressive Era, when President Theodore Roosevelt championed a renaissance in American coin design that produced some of the most beautiful coins ever struck. Struck in silver, with a reeded edge. A notable auction result reached $102K in MS67 grade at Heritage Auctions. Designed by Melicio Figueroa.
