Description
The 1910 VDDR VDDR-001 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 1910 Lincoln Wheat Cent, part of the Lincoln Wheat Cents 1909-1958 series. Die markers: UVC-???? DMR-0?? Stage A: EDS (unconfirmed) Stage B: Die crack from lower Right wheat grains to rim – EMDS Die crack from upper Left wheat grains to rim Die crack North from rim at K-6:00 Die crack from bust to rim – EMDS Die clash at throat Stage C: LDS (unconfirmed). Reverse is RDV-004 (Deep cut N, no V. D. B.) / RDV-003 (Shallow cut N, no V. D. B). Transitional Reverse.
