1907 Indian Head Cent Repunched Date FS-304 Snow-27

Description

This 1907 Indian Head cent displays a Repunched Date variety designated FS-304 (Snow-27). The original 90 was punched inside the loops of the final 90 in the date. This "inside" repunching creates secondary impressions within the circular portions of the 9 and 0 digits, a less common repunching direction compared to the more typical directional shifts seen on other varieties. The 1907 Indian Head cent has at least four recognized repunched date varieties (FS-301 through FS-304), making it one of the richest years for this type of error.
