1907 Indian Head Cent Repunched Date FS-303 Snow-20

Description

This 1907 Indian Head cent displays a Repunched Date variety designated FS-303 (Snow-20). The original 190 was punched southeast of the final date position. The southeast shift of the first three digits is the key diagnostic. This die is also known to show a strike through error on some specimens struck from the same die pair (see the 1907 Strike Through listing), demonstrating that this die experienced multiple types of defects during its service life.
