Description
TDC-1c-1901-01 The 1901 Indian Head cent pictured above has an unusual die clash; it is from a tilted die. The overlay provided shows the approximate location of the dies when they did clash. This coin is courtesy of Bob Russell The C from CENT can be seen clashed in front of Liberty’s nose on the obverse of the coin. The outline of Liberty’s features can be seen clashed as a line from the O of ONE. through the C of CENT and down to the leaf to the left of the bow.
