''Die marker''– Heavy diagonal polishing line between eagle’s left wing and neck intersecting middle of eagle’s lowest neck feather. Higher than VAM 6 polishing line. Single fine vertical polishing line at junction of third inner and third outer feathers from bottom of eagle’s left wing. '''DPIS - ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: '''Comments: # This is often the hardest reverse to diagnose so it was left as the last possibility in the attribution aid. The pickup points are subtle. One marker to look for is a fine, tiny die scratch running upward and out from the third interior feather on the Eagle’s right wing as viewed. # There is a "smoking gun" pickup point for this variety. Some (all?) VAM-32 coins have a die crack across STATES. A break is visible at the top left of A and the die crack extends into the denticles over the second T. If this crack is present on a Micro O, it should be a VAM-32.
