=1890-CC VAM-5 Doubled CC Top= Discovered by Paul Williams, August 1966. 5(revised) III2 1 · C3e (Doubled CC Top) (?) Reverse C3e– Doubled mint mark. Left C slightly doubled as shadow outline at top outside and dot at lower inside. Right C strongly doubled at top outside as arc at top left and spike above right serif and lower left inside. DPIS - ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # 1890-CC VAM-5 was made with the exact same pair of die as the 1890-CC VAM-5A. # It appears the 1890-CC VAM-5A is ~ twice as common as the 1890-CC VAM-5.
