Discovery June 2024, Keith Chambers 15 III2 10 • C3f (Gouge in Jaw, Doubled CC) (?) Obverse III2 10 - Date in normal position. Thick, horizontal die gouge through bottom rear of Liberty's jaw. ''Die Markers'' - Polishing lines in LIBERTY and around cotton bolls. Reverse C3f - DPIS - LH3/B45 ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: 15, 6 Comments: # Earlier die stage than VAM 6 # Additional gouge through upper "bear claw" curls below center of cap bottom.
